One Day is an illustration book by silkscreen printmaking. It was chosen as one of fifteen on the short list in the V&A illustration Awards 2005 in the UK.
What is More, the book has been exhibited in
Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

The story was conceived and developed from a strong memory of a song, which described a snail who wanted to find a home, like some people want to get a small home in a big city, and they have to undergo a lot of trouble before they get it. It is clear that this story is very similar to my first book, 'One Day', but the style is
completely different.
这个故事的灵感来源于一首歌, 它描述一只蜗牛找家的历程, 就象人们为了能得到一个属于自己的小窝而不断付出的努力。《蜗牛找家》的故事的内容和我的另一本书《一天》很相似，但风格完全不同。 |

I used collograph printmaking for part of each image, and then I combined colourful collage, hand painted elements, texture and computer to deal with them. In order to get some materials, I collected a great deal of real leaves with different colours for collage. |

For this book, I used sequential and colourful flowers as a pattern. It also described a process of change from day to night with a simple story to make a counting book for children. |

Nv Wo

These paintings are selected the story mending the sky of Lu Xun. After Nv Wo created man and mend the sky, she stopped breathing because she exhausted all her body. As human generated, war broke up, armies settled down on her stomach, and signed on their flags bowels of Nv Wo,thus indicating that they are children of Nv Wo.
